We build the software that holds supplier contracts to their word.

Techinquest is a healthcare software company in Frisco, Texas. Everything we build checks one thing for hospital supply chain, perioperative and finance teams: that the hospital receives what its supplier contracts promise, and pays what they say.

What we build

Two flagship products, four smaller tools that each do one job, and custom software when none of those fit.

  • Rebate Recovery

Supplier rebate tracking, management and recovery software, built in healthcare

Checks every supplier rebate contract against what you actually bought, then shows what suppliers owe you today, what this period is on pace to pay, and what is still within reach before it closes.

  • Implant Control

Bill-only request management and surgical case reconciliation

Vendor reps submit bill-only requests online, every line is checked against contract price and the surgical case, and approved requests go to your ERP for a purchase order.

  • Vendor Compliance

Vaccination and document compliance for vendor representatives

  • Delivery Tracking

Internal courier requests, driver dispatch and package tracking between facilities

  • Product Approval

Physician sign-off for surgical product requests

  • Forms Library

One catalog for every hospital form, its print orders, artwork and translations

When no product fits the job, we build the software for it and host it the same way. Our services

Why we do this work

A supplier contract already holds the savings both sides agreed to: a rebate for the volume you buy, a set price for each implant. They count only if the rebate is collected and the agreed price is the one paid.

Money in

Rebate Recovery finds rebates earned under the contract and not yet received, and what is still open before the period closes.

A rebate paid at the wrong tier is a gap between two sets of records. It closes fastest when both sides see the same rows, so your team sends the supplier a statement by reason and period, with the invoice lines behind it.

Money out

Implant Control checks bill-only implant spend against contract price and the surgical case before it becomes a purchase order.

An implant priced from a sticker sheet is a typing slip with an invoice attached. Reps file the request in Implant Control themselves, so the price on it is the contract price from the start.

The checking is detailed work across contracts, purchase files and case records, and it falls to people with other jobs. Our software does the checking and keeps the evidence. People have the conversations that settle it.

How we work

Five rules we build to. Each is a fair test for any vendor, us included.

  • Every number shows its work

Every result, including every $0, carries one sentence: what matched, what did not, and what would close the gap. Owed money and possible money are never added into one total. In Implant Control, each approval records which case lines matched which request lines, so it can be explained months later.

Test it: pick any $0 in a demo and ask why it is zero.

  • Fail closed, never guess

When a fact is missing, the software says so. A rebate with no market definition, facility mapping or attestation reads $0, with an alert naming the cause. A visible zero can be fixed; money booked on a guess is found by the supplier. In Implant Control, “case not found” is a result, not a pass.

Test it: ask what happens when a facility name in a purchase file matches nothing.

  • AI proposes, a named person approves

AI reads a signed agreement into a draft contract and marks each value by whether its wording was found on the cited page. A rate with no source text blocks creation until a named person confirms it. The assistant that answers questions is read-only and takes every figure from a system query. Calculations and alerts are arithmetic, not AI.

Test it: ask where an extracted rebate rate came from, and who approved it.

  • Data moves by file, not by interface project

No interface into your EMR or ERP: data moves as scheduled file exports over secure transfer, or as uploads by your team. A re-sent file creates no duplicates, files load in order, and a failed load emails support. Rebate Recovery checks every upload first and says what will load, what will be skipped, and why.

Test it: ask what happens when the same file arrives twice.

  • Documentation ships with the product

More than 80 plain-language help articles live inside Rebate Recovery, and the build fails on an undocumented rule. Implant Control teaches in place, with guided tours for each role.

Test it: ask to read the help article for the least common alert.

No customer or supplier is named on this site: a supplier’s name beside contract terms can point to one hospital’s deal. Every figure in our examples is invented.

The same habit, outside the product

The blog and the guides are written the same way: specific, sourced, useful whether or not you ever talk to us.
